ENEC
"European Norms Electrical Certification". This demonstrates that a product has been certified by one of the national certification institutes in Europe. Today, there are 18 certification institutes who are signatories to the agreement. Apart from the ENEC Mark itself, there is also a two digit number that indicates which certification body has issued the ENEC Certificate.
RU
Recognized Component Mark and Canadian Recognized Component Mark - Products intended for Canada carry the Recognized Component mark "C."
cRUus
Recognized Component Mark for Canada and the United States - This new UL Recognized Component Mark, which became effective April 1, 1998, may be used on components certified by UL to both Canadian and U.S. requirements. Although UL had not originally planned to introduce a combined Recognized Component Mark, the popularity of the Canada/U.S. Listing and Classification Marks among clients with UL certifications for both Canada and the United States has led to the new Mark.
CE
The CE-marking is the manufacturer's statement to the EU authorities that his product complies with all relevant CE-marking Directives. It is important to emphasise that the CE-marking is not a quality mark or a guarantee to consumers in EU.
ETL Listed Mark

Power Factor
The power factor of an AC electrical power system is defined as the ratio of the real power flowing to the load, to the apparent power in the circuit. The power factor is defined as P/S, (P) - is active power measured in watts (W), (S) - is apparent power measured in volt-amperes (VA).
Total Harmonic Distortion:
The combined effect of harmonic distortion on the AC waveform produced by a ballast or other device. Expressed as a percentage. Excessive levels of THD can create large currents on the neutral line of a four-wire Wye three-phase system.
Auto Rest Thermal Cutt-Off
Circuit senses the temperature of the fixture is above opperating capacity and shuts the transformer off. Once the temperature cools to operating temperature the unit will automatically reset and turn back on.

Returns

Returns at customers' discretion

All returns require a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number. Returns without an RMA number will incur a 40% restock fee. An RMA must be requested within 30 days of the original invoice date for non-defective product. Thereafter, all sales are final. All items must be returned in "new" condition. The customer is responsible for inspecting the order for damages or missing items and reporting it within 48 hours. Reports after that time will NOT be honored. Product damaged in transit will be replaced at no additional charge or credited to the credit card of the original charge (this is a choice to be made by Semperlite). The product MUST be kept in its original package for 10 business days or until the shipper makes the inspection. Credit will be issued for the exact number of items damaged in transit. DAMAGED LAMPS WILL BE CREDITED TO YOUR ORIGINAL FORM OF PAYMENT, AND A NEW ORDER MUST BE PLACED FOR REPLACEMENTS. WE DO NOT RE-SHIP REPLACEMENT LAMPS.
